A case of about 11year-old boy named(name withheld) abandoned along the high way at ilesa along Ibadan Road, Osun state, Nigeria; with cerebral palsy and oedema of both ankle joints at 6:30pm 9th may 2013 9th June 2013.
This boy whose identity was not known was remove from the high way . He was weak, malnourished, several dehydration (eager to drink) and not communicating, but in pain on touch.

Child was removed from the high way and admitted into the Wesley guild Hospital Ilesa and registered. Necessary care was given, dressing done and discharged on 10th June 2013 to Hon Oyewumi and matron Abonyi( chairperson,St Benedicts Healthcare Foundation) to continue care and management. Referred to the social welfare office at Ereja, Ilesa, Osun state.

We had challenges in getting a shelter and funds for maintenance, paying Hospital Bills, dressing materials and drugs were sponsored by matron Abonyi( chairperson,St Benedict Healthcare Foundation). Through the other patients in the Hospital ward, his house was located, only his mother was located, financially handicap to maintain her family as the father had left them and the boy was left to wander aimlessly during which he had scald.
